Overview

Grimanesa Amorós (b. 1962, Lima, Peru) is an artist whose practice explores the relationship between light, space and architecture.

Working across sculpture, installation and light-based media, she uses LED technology in architectural and public spaces. Her practice extends from gallery installations to large-scale public commissions.

Amorós has exhibited internationally, including presentations at the Venice Biennale; the Grand Palais, Paris; and museums, public commissions and institutions across the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
