Overview
Andrea Canepa (b. 1980, Lima, Peru) is an artist whose practice explores education, participation and play.
Working across drawing, installation, performance and participatory processes, she draws from educational, cultural and institutional frameworks. Her practice reinterprets objects, texts, games and spatial structures to examine how knowledge is produced, transmitted and shared.
Canepa has exhibited internationally, including presentations at the Venice Biennale; the Bienal de São Paulo; the Bienal de Cuenca; and institutions and galleries throughout Latin America, Europe and beyond.
